5.30 am - alarm goes of, hit SNOOZE. 5.35am, alarm again, SNOOZE. 5.45am alarm, look at phone in disgust, roll out of bed.
Sit on the edge of the bed for about 5 minutes staring at myself in the mirror thinking i really need to sleep more, or i really need to do something about those bags under my eyes.
Quietly tip toe out the bedroom and downstairs as to not wake my daughter up so i can get a cuppa tea and get ready for work in peace. Back upstairs with a cuppa tea and a pack of biscuits, as i never have time for breakfast. Slowly paint my face of makeup on, which makes me look a bit better than the morning witch. Once I'm all ready for work then the fun begins ...
Take a deep breath, 6.40am walk into my daughters bedroom. Slowly, slowly, quietly, try and get her dressed while she's a sleep and "SHIT" she's awake. "Mummy i don't want to wear trousers, I WANT tights", "Mummy i tired", "i don't want to go in mummy's car", "not those shoes mummy but the white ones", "Not my hair in a pony tail, i need a plait", "no mummy brush my teeth for me but with the blue toothpaste".....
Battling, and fighting my daughter most mornings just so i can make sure we are in the car by 7am to drop off to the childminder 7.05 so i can shoot to work!
By the time i get to work and start at 7.30am ready for my 12 hour shift, you guessed it I'm exhausted and already ready to crawl back into bed, but unfortunately have to earn a living!
I can't be the only mum out there that has this most mornings, these stroppy morning tantrums.
Me and my daughter are so a like so we argue a lot.
Despite the morning stresses we have getting out that front door on time, i wouldn't change her for the world. Those precious days out we get together, mummy and daughter days i treasure dearly. Here i feel to share some treasured photos of those fun days out we have together.
I hope you have enjoyed this post, please i would love to hear some of your stressy morning stories.
Until next time, bye for now,
FOREVER GiGi .xo.xo.
