Are you tired with the struggle of life? We live in a difficult world there's no doubt about that! We all are faced with difficult times and struggles in life. We all have times when life gets us down, especially when we get caught up in the melodrama's of life. Whether these be melodramas related to work, relationships, financial, children etc. When faced with the struggle of life I'm sure like myself you ponder over many questions: "How can I enjoy life in a world that is increasingly encased in struggle?", "How can we bring serenity into our everyday lives when we feel we are constantly hitting our head against the wall?" and "How can we ever stop worrying when so many things in life seem to threaten us?".
What we seem to forget is that life does not have to be a struggle. We constantly yearn to feel calmer, more in control and excited about life but the possibility of this always seem to be a long lost dream! Well its time for a change. Too many of us are caught in the melodramas of life and life then becomes a struggle. There are other ways to see ourself in the world, we just need to learn to end the struggle and dance with life.
Mastering the art of "dancing with life" helps us to ease the strain of everyday life bringing more enjoyment, peace, joy and appreciation into your life.
"The road is smooth. Why do you throw rocks before you?" ~Ancient Sage Wisdom.
This quote is so true to most of us as we all throw rocks before us and as you can imagine it is very hard to dance on rocks. Therefore we need to clear the debris and make way for a more peaceful, joyful and abundant life. Myself, I am guilty for throwing rocks before me in my road. I constantly take on too much and find myself battling my way through a road of obstacles and then life becomes a stressful struggle. This is why I have recently decided to embark on a journey to start focusing more on my self-love and self-care and firstly to begin with clearing the road of debris and end the struggle to dance with life. Embarking this journey I hope to better my health physically and emotionally. Clearing the debris I hope I will be able to dance more freely and easily with life. Yes I know this will not happen overnight, but with one step at a time I am going to begin the journey.
Lately I have started spending more time down at the beach. For me this is a place of exquisite safety, peace and harmony and all struggles, fears and worries are blown away by the sea breeze. I recently wrote about how spending time at the beach helps me in a previous post 'the waves of the sea help me get back to me' , you should give it a read. Spending more time at the beach for me takes me to an extraordinary place, a place of peace which is absent in my struggle-dominated world. When I'm in this place all my personal problems seem like insignificant specks and the world seems hugely so much more. For me life is so much more, I want to enjoy more precious moments with my daughter and my family. To be able to dance more freely I will be able to take better care of myself. Sometimes negative emotions can take over our struggling life and have a profound effect on your relationships and your ability to be able to enjoy life, I hope to change this from now on.
I am determined to end the struggle and dance with life by taking small steps, one step at a time and share my steps through my blog. I hope you will enjoy and follow my journey of learning to dance with life, look out for my next step which I will be sharing soon "letting go of holding on".
